Awkward?

You know what’s really awkward? When you see someone you vaguely know in a store or a mall and you have a brief, yet generic conversation before parting ways. Then, you see them again shortly after. Do you say hi? Nod in acknowledgement? Ignore them altogether? Didn’t we already do this whole awkward dance? Must we repeat it?
